CDPAANYS’ Annual Conference focuses on education and information, seeking to challenge attendees with a high volume of information on state and federal policy changes, quality and fraud control in a unique program setting, and innovative approaches to Consumer Direction in a rapidly changing healthcare environment. The theme of this year’s conference is “A New Era,” with keynote addresses and breakout sessions on the latest developments that impact Medicaid and CDPA.

The Opening Plenary address will be given by Eric Henderson, Deputy Director of the Division of Long Term Care at the NYS Department of Health. We are looking forward to hearing from the Department on a range of new developments that will impact fiscal intermediaries, including authorization for fiscal intermediaries, Value-Based Purchasing (VBP), wage parity and minimum wage funding, and more.

This year’s conference will feature a total of 12 breakout session s over the two-day program, with topics ranging from compliance, empowering consumer advocacy, electronic visit verification in CDPA, FLSA joint employment, and more.
