On May 11th, 2021, the Department of Health (DOH) published updated Wage
Parity Compliance and Certification Guidance. The guidance is MLTC policy
21.03 on the MLTC Policy

web page and is also a guidance document located on the Wage Parity website
under Official Notices
<https://www.health.ny.gov/health_care/medicaid/redesign/mrt_61.htm>.



Updated certification forms must be annually submitted to the DOH by MMCO
and MLTC plans, certified home health agencies (CHHA), long term home
health care programs (LTHHCP), licensed home care services agencies (LHCSA)
and consumer directed personal assistance program fiscal intermediaries
(FI).



By June 1, 2021 and annually thereafter, forms must be submitted
electronically through the eMedNY Provider Portal
<https://portal.emedny.org/provider/portal/login?execution=e1s1>.
Instructions for completing the form are provided in the guidance mentioned
above.



The guidance also outlines updated Department of Labor forms and policies
regarding wage parity enforcement as well as new penalties for
non-compliance.
