State Conducting Survey on Long Term Care System Barriers/Gaps

Dr. Howard Zucker, New York State Commissioner of Health and Greg Olsen, Acting Director of the New York State Office for the Aging, are requesting participation in a survey on barriers and gaps for New York’s long term care system. Data collected from this survey will be utilized by the newly created Long Term Care Planning Council to analyze, evaluate and identify existing service gaps in New York’s long-term care system. From there, the Council aims to develop a strategic plan to address these barriers and develop solutions that will improve accessibility within long-term care.
